StellarWP Welcomes LearnDash to the Family

We have some big news to share: We’re welcoming LearnDash to StellarWP and the Liquid Web Family of Brands!

LearnDash is the leading learning management system (LMS) plugin for WordPress, and we can’t wait to start working with their team as LearnDash grows and evolves to meet the ever-changing needs of educators around the world. This powerful subscription-based plugin enables WordPress users to create virtual classes, quizzes, and dynamic content with built-in marketing and ecommerce features.

The acquisition marks StellarWP’s entrance into the booming LMS space. As the global pandemic continues to drive educators to virtual learning solutions, the LMS market is projected to grow by more than $30 billion between now and 2028, according to some projections

LearnDash will keep doing what it does best. We believe in autonomy for brands.

Before I talk more about LearnDash, I wanted to address the elephant in the room: It’s no secret that the WordPress world has been busy with acquisitions and mergers over the last year, especially here at StellarWP.

We are proud to be at the forefront of investment in the WordPress ecosystem. We believe in WordPress, and we’re committed to supporting the leading WordPress plugins and the people who power them.

Every company has its own reasons for acquiring WordPress plugins, but our objective at StellarWP is simple: We invest in WordPress plugins and services that show incredible potential. We keep their teams intact, and we help them reach new heights as they push innovation forward.

As StellarWP grows with the addition of LearnDash, so too does our entire collective of WordPress brands and experts. When LearnDash comes on board, their team will retain its autonomy while also gaining a new group of peers at iThemes, Restrict Content Pro, The Events Calendar, Kadence WP, GiveWP, and IconicWP.

This opens the door for exciting new integrations and collaborations across teams and products. It’s a win for our employees, who benefit from shared knowledge in a collaborative environment. It’s also a win for the more than 2 million WordPress users who rely on StellarWP plugins to power their businesses and nonprofits.

We are proud of the collective we’ve built since we first acquired iThemes in 2018. We continue to grow stronger as a team, and we remain laser focused on our mission of empowering business owners with the WordPress tools they need to maintain and grow thriving businesses.
