In the early 2010s, two WordPress developers got together and identified a hole in the market: People desperately needed a good way to collect donations on WordPress. GiveWP was founded in 2015 to create a simple solution for online fundraising on WordPress.
Since then, GiveWP has grown from a team of two to more than 20 people. After being acquired by the Liquid Web Family of Brands in 2021, the team and the product continue to grow.
