On July 19, StellarWP will host a free online WordPress conference, with speakers from all over covering many topics and interests, including areas for any level of WordPress user – from blogger to developer.

Within the two tracks are talks to address business, design, code, content, and other interesting areas. Our fifteen speakers will *spark* ideas for growth, creativity, collaboration, and more.

Leading off the day is a keynote address from Josepha Haden Chomphosy, Executive Director of WordPress, with a talk titled “Surprising but Inevitable.”

When a new WordPress user first encounters the amazing ecosystem that exists around the software, and inevitably discovers the vast network of contributors that sustains it, one of the biggest questions they have is how this works with a product that’s available for free. Join us at Stellar Spark when the Project’s Executive Director Josepha Haden Chomphosy takes us on an exploration through how the surprising interconnectedness of the WordPress community has helped us make it this far, and how a belief in a better future can move all open source into a better future.

This is a virtual event that will be presented LIVE on site and on YouTube. Speakers will do live Q&A following their talks. Conversation can flow in the chat throughout the day.

Stellar Spark is all about WordPress, and though it’s live, we’ll also record it, so if there are two sessions at the same time that you want to see, we’ve got your back. You’ll also be able to go back and catch things in talks that you might have missed the first time through.

We’ll also have a Zoom room open for networking all day, giving you an opportunity to speak with other attendees, organizers, speakers, and StellarWP team members about all things WordPress, community, design, plugins, and more.

Rumor has it that attendees may even have early access to some things coming soon at StellarWP!
