StellarSites is designed to make building and managing a WordPress website easier, but it may not be the right fit for everyone. It’s not for:

  • Developers who prefer full server control. If you need root access, custom server configurations, or complex development environments, a traditional VPS or dedicated hosting solution may be better.
  • Agencies handling fully custom client projects. While freelancers and some agencies can benefit from StellarSites, those building custom-coded WordPress sites from scratch may require a more developer-focused setup.
  • Users who want a completely free website. StellarSites includes premium hosting, plugins, security, and management tools; it’s a paid service rather than a free blogging platform.

Yes! StellarSites gives you full creative control. You can start with a blank canvas using Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks, both included with every plan. Whether you’re a designer or just know what you want, you can build a custom site from the ground up, no template required. Note that if you’d like to leverage Kadence Theme Kit Pro and Kadence Blocks Pro features you’ll need the Plus or Ultimate tiers.

We continuously improve StellarSites with plugin updates, security patches, and performance optimizations to keep your site running smoothly.

Of course! Simply go through the checkout process again either via the AI Wizard, or through our Pricing page. When you go through the checkout, make sure to use the same email address of your existing StellarSite account and your new site will be added to your account automatically.

We don’t currently offer a bundled site option. However, agency-focused features are in the works, and we’d love your input. Send us a note to share what would be most valuable for your workflow.”

Yes! While staging environments aren’t created by default, our friendly support team is happy to set one up for you upon request. Just reach out, and we’ll take care of the rest.

All StellarSites plans are designed to have a high amount of physical and PHP allocated memory. You are quite unlikely to run into memory limits. The number of PHP workers, however, does depend on which plan you’re on, which is more likely to be a limit you’ll run into if you have a lot of people interacting with your site simultaneously to make purchases, take quizzes, register for events, etc. If that’s the case, you might consider an upgraded plan, but we’ve designed these plans to be optimized for most workloads.

Pricing & Billing

We accept all major credit and debit cards for monthly and annual billing.

Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or switch to an industry-specific plan at any time through your account dashboard.

We don’t have any hidden fees. Your plan covers hosting, premium plugins, and security. You only incur additional costs if you upgrade with optional add-ons or custom services.

We offer a 30-day refund period for annual plans and a 15-day refund period for monthly plans. You can complete the refund request form and we’ll accommodate your needs.

Yes! After you create your StellarSites account, just fill out our support form and we’ll help you migrate your site. Our customer success team is ready to guide you through it. If you need help switching your theme, implementing any other plugins, or finishing your site build our Pro Services team can assist with that, too! Customization & Site Ownership

We’ll hold on to a backup of your site for 30 days after cancellation of your subscription. If you want to come back during that time, we’ll simply restore your site. You’re always welcome to download those backups and take your site wherever you choose.

No coding required. With Kadence Blocks, you have the code-free tools to create a beautiful, conversion-focused website. However, if you want to add custom CSS or advanced modifications, you have the flexibility to do so.

StellarSites is a separate product from your existing Kadence Pro license. While your current license doesn’t transfer over, it doesn’t go to waste either. 

You can still use your Kadence Pro license on any StellarSites website if you’d like to keep full control of where and how it’s applied. That said, StellarSites includes much more than Kadence. 

Each StellarSites plan comes bundled with:

  • A fully optimized hosting environment
  • The entire Solid Suite (Security with Patchstack, Solid Performance, Backups, Central, Solid Mail)
  • Object Cache Pro for performance
  • Visual-safe plugin updates with auto rollback
  • One support team across all plugins, themes, and hosting

Yes, you can install your own themes and plugins on StellarSites. While StellarSites comes pre-loaded (depending on your plan) with premium tools like Kadence, GiveWP, LearnDash, SolidWP, and The Events Calendar, you still have the freedom to upload and activate additional plugins and themes as you would on a traditional WordPress site.

That flexibility is part of what makes StellarSites unique: It delivers a secure, pre-configured WordPress environment that’s ready to go, but it doesn’t lock you into a fixed set of tools. You can customize your site further to meet your specific business needs, whether that’s adding a niche plugin or building a custom theme.

Keep in mind that while you have full access to the WordPress dashboard, plugin compatibility and performance are still key. StellarSites automatically manages core updates and plugin safety checks to help you avoid conflicts or downtime. For best results, we recommend testing new installs in your local or other staging environment first.
