*The Checkout appearance settings have three settings accompanied by a live preview.

  • Payment options title
  • Styling
  • Layout

Payment options title #

This is what the customer chooses in the checkout screen from among all the available payment methods designated in your WooCommerce payment methods settings.

Keep in mind that StellarPay’s deep integration with Stripe allows you to provide a wide variety of payment methods with this one option. For example, calling this section “Credit Cards” doesn’t encompass all the options available. Your customers will have payment options like Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, giropay, Klarna, and more.

Here are some common terms used for this purpose:

  • Cards and Wallets
  • Credit, Bank, and Wallet payments

Styling #

The Styling option changes the visual colors of the payment fields. When you choose a style, you’ll see it reflected in the Preview immediately. These are your options:

  • Default
  • Flat
  • Dark
  • Minimal
  • Bubblegum
  • Ninety Five
  • Dark Blue

Layout #

The layout setting changes the layout of the payment options in relation to each other. When you choose a layout you’ll see it reflected in the Preview immediately, with your chosen Style option still reflected. Combining your Style and Layout options gives you a lot of flexibility in the appearance of your payment fields.

Your layout options are:

  • Tabs
  • Accordion with Spacing
  • Accordion with Radios
  • Accordion with Spacing and Radios

Payment Statement #

The section hold just the one setting for “Statement Descriptor”. Your statement descriptor is the name that appears on your customer’s credit card statements. By default, it’s set to your Stripe account name. To change it, toggle this option and enter a recognizable name relevant to your store to prevent disputes. Make sure your descriptor meets Stripe’s required guidelines.
