How To Change Your Domain

Estimated Reading Time: 1 min read

Changing the domain for a site in StellarSites allows you to update the domain name for a site you’ve built. The Reset Domain feature makes this possible in just a few clicks.

When to Use the Reset Domain Option #

  • You want to remove the current domain from the site and point it to a new one.
  • You’re troubleshooting a domain connection issue and need to start fresh.
  • You’re repurposing the site for a different client or project.

When you reset the domain, the site will temporarily revert to its default StellarWP subdomain (e.g., opentradeadvice.stellarwp.site). From there, you’ll be able to assign a new custom domain.

Steps to Reset and Change the Domain #

    • From your main dashboard, go to the Sites tab on the left-hand side.
  2. Choose the Site You Want to Manage
